3D Model of Four Japanese Islands

This free asset contains a 3D model based on four Japanese islands located in the Seto Inland Sea. Those islands are Tajima [田島], Yokoshima [横島], Momojima [百島], and Ka [加島]. You can find them at latitude and longitude coordinates 34°22'12"N 133°16'12"E.

The model has a 'low-poly' resolution, but covers approximately 16 km² of land. It is intended to be used to produce backgrounds for visual novels, but you can use it in any way you see fit. The model includes topography and roads, but not buildings, and is about 80% accurate to the actual islands at 10m contour intervals—three times the resolution of SRTM's 1 arc second (30m interval).

The model is provided in its native SketchUp format (2015 version), and has also been exported to several other common 3D formats—.obj, .3ds, .dwg. Some basic color textures have been applied for differentiation, but these might not be supported by all file types.

This model is released under Creative Commons BY license, meaning that it can be used for anything and everything—commercial and non-commercial—so long as an attribution credit is given to Sasuga Studios. Please add, delete, modify, and remix in whatever manner your projects require.
